First, open up the steamer by gently pulling the sides apart until it forms a circular shape. 2. Next, fill a pot with enough water to cover the bottom but not touch the steamer. Place the pot on the cooker and bring the water to a boil. 3. Once the water is boiling, place your vegetables in the steamer basket. Be sure not to overcrowd the basket so that the steam can circulate evenly. 4. Place the steamer basket inside the pot, making sure it rests securely on the rim. 5.
